Frederico Martins is a Portuguese-Angolan fashion photographer based in Portugal.
Born into a family that fled the war in Mozambique, he grew up between worlds, never entirely belonging to any one of them. That displacement became a lens: his work carries the tension between origins and reinvention, filtered through what he calls Atlantic elegance - a sobriety of light, a precision of beauty.
Self-taught and internationally published, Frederico has built a body of work that moves between fashion, portrait, and the space where both dissolve into something more personal.
His editorial work has appeared in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar Arabia, Madame Figaro, GQ, L'Officiel, Amica, Glamour and Les Échos.
His commercial clients include Armani, Brunello Cucinelli, Rochas, Blumarine, Garnier, L'Oréal, El Corte Inglés, Santander, Roberto Coin, Zilli, Maryling, Seventy, Boticário, CR7 and APICCAPS.
Based in Porto, he works from his own studio with a production team built over fifteen years. For international brands looking to shoot in Portugal. The light, the locations, the Atlantic coast - he offers the full infrastructure without the complexity.
