Born in the north of Portugal, Frederico discovered his passion of photography during his studies at Porto University. A self taught photographer got his big break after visiting his father in Angola in 98 and producing a news story that ended up wining several awards and helped him start a Career in photojournalism. Fashion came later but with great success, after a year working with smaller fashion magazines in Portugal he started with Vogue Portugal and pretty soon Frederico was working in Paris, Milan and New York.
His work is published all around the world in magazines such as Vogue, Amica, Vanity Fair, Narcisse, Les Échos Weekend, Madame Figaro and Le Figaro.
Nowadays, Frederico works between Lisbon, Porto, Paris, Milan and New York.
